Boreal Forest

About

The Boreal forest, or Taiga, is a coniferous land biome that covers more of the earth's surface than any other land biome in the world. It can only be found in the Northern Hemisphere, in the continents of North America and Eurasia. More specifically, covering the whole south half of Canada and the whole north half of Eurasia and Alaska. There are many different species of plants and animals in the Boreal forest. The dominant plant species living in it are Pines, spruces and Larches.
